Logan Entertainment Centre to screen messages of love
Published: 8 February 2019
Do you want to win a heart this Valentine’s Day by making a public declaration of love?
If you have a special message to share then the Logan Entertainment Centre (LEC) wants to hear from you.
Ahead of the most romantic day of the year on February 14, anyone with a heartfelt message for the one they love is invited to enter a special LEC promotion.
Some of the messages received will be selected and posted on a live billboard for all the world to see on the big screen outside the LEC on Wembley Rd, Logan Central.
Messages can be submitted online via the LEC Facebook page or email firstname.lastname@example.org
The promotion is being held ahead of the LEC show, I Want to Know What Love Is, which will be presented by theatre company The Good Room on Thursday, April 4.
The Brisbane Festival and Brisbane Powerhouse sold-out show is based on anonymous love stories, memories, confessions and admissions submitted by the community.
I Want to Know What Love Is throws the spotlight on long-buried memories, bedroom fantasises, crushes and conquests.
City Lifestyle and Community Committee Chairperson, Councillor Steve Swenson, said tickets to the show would make an ideal Valentine’s gift.
“It has been performed to rave reviews already and is now coming to Logan for one performance only,” Cr Swenson said.
“We encourage people to book tickets early as we expect this show to be quickly sold-out.”
Tickets are available via the LEC website at https://www.loganentertainmentcentre.com.au/
