Alan Wilke Bridge re-opened
The Alan Wilke Bridge at Wolffdene reopened on 19 August 2017, less than five months after being closed due to flood damage in late March from ex-Tropical Cyclone Debbie.

The Alan Wilke Bridge on on Stanmore Road at Wolffdene has reopened to traffic.

The bridge, which had been closed since sustaining flood damage in late March from ex-Tropical Cyclone Debbie, opened on Saturday 19 August.

The Alan Wilke Bridge crosses the Albert River, the local government boundary between City of Gold Coast and Logan City Council.

Reconstruction works for the bridge were led by the City of Gold Coast and delivered at an estimated cost of $2 million.

Eligible works will be jointly funded by the Commonwealth and Queensland Governments under the Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA).

We  thank residents and motorists for their patience while the works were completed.
