Stars of Australian music to shine for Jazz and Shiraz
Kate Ceberano will be joined by James Morrison at Jazz and Shiraz in 2015.

Jazz and Shiraz is back in the City of Logan with two of Australia's top performers set to headline at an exciting new location.

Australian songstress Kate Ceberano and acclaimed musician James Morrison will hit the stage on Saturday 13 June at Griffith University's Logan campus at Meadowbrook.

An ARIA Award winning singer with a repertoire that extends beyond jazz to soul, pop and RnB, Ceberano will bring over 30 years of hits to Jazz and Shiraz.

Mayor Pam Parker said you would normally expect to pay top dollar to see stars of this calibre performing.

"Jazz and Shiraz is a wonderfully relaxed and family friendly celebration of great live music and best of all, it is affordable for the whole family," she said.

"We are thrilled to be hosting these very talented performers here in Logan and this year's event will be the best yet with a bigger venue and performances from a host of local favourites including David De Vito.

"Griffith University's campus at Meadowbrook will be an ideal spot for people to settle in for the afternoon on a rug or chair with their picnic hamper and soak up the sounds."

Jazz and Shiraz will be held on Saturday 13 June from 1pm – 5pm and tickets are on sale now.
Gourmet food will be available for purchase from food trucks, along with wine and other beverages.

Mayor Parker said there will be plenty of exciting food options to try with some of the favorite food trucks from the popular Eats and Beats events set to attend.

No BYO alcohol is allowed at the venue but attendees can bring along their own blankets, chairs and picnic baskets. A free shuttle bus will operate to and from Loganlea Train Station and Griffith University from 12noon.

General admission is $35, children 12 and under are free, or purchase the VIP experience for $120 which includes a food and beverage package for four hours. To purchase tickets contact 3412 5626 or visit
