Use your ImagiNation this holiday

The City of Logan has 170 reasons not to be bored this school holiday with the ImagiNation Children’s Festival providing 16 days of activities for children aged 0-12.

Most of the activities are either free or low-cost and range from sporting and adventurous through to fun and educational.

The festival will be officially launched this Saturday at the Kingston Butter Factory from 10am-2pm with an outdoor concert.

Enjoy free performances and presentations by Kangagang, Renata Jayne, Geckoes Wildlife, Beverley Parker Academy of Dance performance and activities with Sparky Do Dah.

There will also be plenty of food and drink options for purchase. Attendance is free, however, tickets are required www.imaginationfestival.com.au.

Among the many highlights will be Mud World on September 29 and 30 when Underwood Park will be transformed into a muddy obstacle course like no other.

Organised by Nature Play Queensland, they promise memories that will last long after the mud has been washed off.

“ImagiNation Children’s Festival will make Logan the fun capital this school holidays,” City Image and Innovation Committee Chairperson Councillor Laurie Smith said.

“Council has carefully selected activities that combine fun, physical activity and education for ages 0-12 to ensure that everyone is catered for.

“The festival will also be light on the hip pocket for parents with most activities free or low cost.”

Mud World

Saturday and Sunday September 29 Session 18.30am–11.30am, Session 2, 1.30pm–4.30pm Underwood Park,Priestdale. Beenleigh Heritage Day
