City Pride Program
The City of Logan is home to more than 300,000 residents from approximately 215 different cultural backgrounds, yet we all share a sense of pride and sense of place in our city.
Logan City Council is pleased to announce the launch of an exciting 'City of Logan Pride Program'. This initiative forms part of our City of Choice and City Image programs and aims to inspire our community to share all the great things we love about our city.
The City Pride Program supports us in championing the city through a range of initiatives including a City Pride Video, Hidden Gems photobook, street banners and a handy guide.
Hidden Gems street banners
Keep your eye out for a series of striking street banners which will appear in the City of Logan in the near future. The banners will proudly display images from the Logan Hidden Gems Photography Competition, adding vibrancy and colour to our city’s streetscape. We will update the website with banner locations as they are installed, so watch this space! In the meantime, here's a sneak peek at a sample of the banner designs.
City Pride Program swatch book guide
A handy swatch book guide has been developed to illustrate key messages and little known facts about our city, along with social media tips to help share our love of Logan with our community and their networks.
Whether it’s on Facebook or at the next barbeque, the swatch book will be a valuable tool to enable the city to be championed far and wide.
Where to from here?
We have a great deal to be proud of and we want the world to know it.These City Pride Program initiatives are just the beginning, now we need your help to spread the word far and wide about everything the City of Logan has to offer. Word of mouth is our most powerful tool to champion the city; by sharing positive messages through your own interactions and networks, together we can build a bright and positive future for our great City of Logan.
