The Active Logan Strategy 2016 – 2028 is a 12-year plan for the future of sport, recreation and physical activity across the city. The strategy identifies key projects to improve our infrastructure, programs and partnership opportunities.
The Active Logan Value Statement quantifies the economic, health and social benefits of sport and recreation provided by the City of Logan. Logan City Council is the first local government in Australia to determine a dollar value benefit of the sport and recreation programs and facilities it funds each year.
Only people who live in Logan who are 18 years or older are eligible to complete the survey. The survey will be open in November and December 2021.
The survey asks about:
if you do any physical activity, and if so, the amount and type
if you use built, outdoor and park facilities for physical activity
what makes it difficult to physical activity
your local neighbourhood.
If you have a child aged 5-17 years, you may be asked similar questions.
The survey takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
The survey results will only use summary data and individual results are not available. We will make the results available in mid-2022 on our website. We will use the information to understand what facilities and programs people like to use and what we should offer.
