Children and Families Support

Our City is a great place for children and families to live and visit. We want to make sure all children and families in Logan are cared for, supported, connected, and included in their communities.

To achieve this, we promote and support opportunities for our children and families.

Wonderful Me!

Wonderful Me! is a journal perfect for people aged 9 to 12 years. It is a creative way for young people to explore more about themselves. Parents and caregivers can also use it as a guide for some conversation starters with your children.

To download the self-guided journal, please see Wonderful Me!

Grandparents Day Colouring In card

Queensland Grandparents Day falls on the last Sunday of October.

It gives Queenslanders the opportunity to celebrate the different ways that grandparents enrich and strengthen families and communities.

You can download the Grandparents Day colouring card (PDF 1.1 MB) and decorate it however you like. Show your grandparents you care by sending them a card and message for Grandparents Day.

Just Wanted to Say Hello card

To help connect younger generations with our older generations, a “just wanted to say hello” colouring in card has been designed.

You can download the Just Wanted to Say Hello card (PDF 320 KB), draw and write special messages in it and send it to a person who plays a special role in your life, or our seniors in aged care homes who may be feeling lonely and isolated.

A simple gesture of kindness can make a senior’s day!
