Move it Logan

Just 30 minutes of physical activity each day can lead to a happier and healthier lifestyle. We've made it easy for you to find your 30 and get moving with our Move it Logan program.

Move it Logan activities aim to encourage inactive Logan residents to be more active.  Activities are affordable and suitable for a variety of ages and abilities.  Transport is also available in a wheelchair friendly bus to specific adaptive classes.

Program information

Move it Logan has funding to run from 10 June 2019 to 30 June 2020, with a break from 15 December 2019 to 13 January 2020. Activities will not run on public holidays.

  • Check if you need to book in for your chosen activity. You can find this in the program below or by downloading the Move it Logan program booklet (PDF 406 KB)
  • Fill in a registration form (PDF 287 KB) and bring it with you to your chosen activity or you can fill this in on arrival.
  • Please contact the activity provider directly for booking information or queries.

Free transport from Jimboomba available

Free transport is available from Caddies Community Centre, Jimboomba to selected activities. The bus is wheelchair friendly and fits eight people. Bookings are essential. See the Move it Logan program (PDF 406 KB) for more information.

Adaptive Aquatics
Free bus available for Class 3

When: Mondays (school terms only)
Class 3: 10.00am to 10.30am

This bus will run every week during school terms.
When: The bus will leave at 9.00am every Monday
From: Caddies Community Centre, 19-33 South Street, Jimboomba
To: Beenleigh Aquatic Centre
Cost: Free

After the class has ended, the bus will take you back to Caddies Community Centre, Jimboomba.

Adaptive Group Fitness (12 years and above)

When: Thursdays
Time: 5.00pm to 6.00pm

This bus will run every week during school terms.

Cost: Free

Taking part in our Move it Logan program can be even more rewarding!

Join our reward scheme to go into a quarterly draw to win a prize pack. All you need to do is:

  • Collect a reward card from your activity provider.
  • Gain a stamp for every Move it Logan or Live Well Logan activity session you attend.
  • Enter the draw by sending your completed reward card to us in the mail.
  • Claim your Live Well Logan prize pack if you are successful in the quarterly draw.

Reporting

The Move it Logan reporting link for Term 1 is not yet live. Please come back shorty to fill in the reporting form. The report for 'Block 1' is due on Monday 7 October 2019.
