Safe City Awards

The City of Logan Safe City Awards acknowledge the work of volunteer groups, community organisations, individuals and government agencies, within the City of Logan, who make our city even safer.

The 2017 Awards ceremony was held on Thursday, 23 November 2017, at the Logan Entertainment Centre. Congratulations to all of our category award recipients. These include:

Not-for-profit category

Winner: Not Now, Not Ever in Logan campaign

Runner up: Queensland Maori Wardens

Highly Commendable: Working Against Violence Support Service (WAVSS) – Logan Integrated Service Response Team

Individual category

Winner: Clive Shield

Runner up: David Kenny

Highly Commendable: Andrew Jones

Volunteer group category

Winner: Crestmead Neighbourhood Watch

Runner up: Yarrabilba Community Association

Government category

Winner: Browns Plains Police Station

Runner up: Logan/Beenleigh High Risk Team
