Logan City Council pools and gyms are open following the approval of COVID Industry Action Plans for each facility.
Some rules still apply as part of the State Government’s Stage 3 easing of restrictions, including regular intensive cleaning.
From Monday, July 6, bookings are no longer required (with the exception of group sessions at Logan North and all Aqua classes).
The number of people admitted to each facility and gym floor will be based on the one person per four square metres rule.
Contact details must be provided on entry at all facilities. Social distancing will be strictly enforced.
Group sessions must adhere to one person per 4 square metres.
The exception is health group classes which are one person per 7 square metre (these classes recommence on Monday, July 20).
Change rooms and showers are available again. No towel – no train.
Full contact is permitted for sports floor users. Social distancing must be practised in areas around the courts.
Casual Basketball shoot around will once again be available without a court booking.
Some child-minding services are available again at Logan North, Logan Metro and Mt Warren site, with additional hygiene requirements in place. Please check beforehand with your facility.
Meeting rooms, where available, can accommodate up to 50 people. Any events will require a COVID Safe Check List, or a COVID Safe Event Plan if numbers exceed 500.

Logan Entertainment Centre, Beenleigh Events Centre and other community venues are now accepting bookings for groups of up to 100 people for meetings.
LEC presented shows will recommence from September 2020 pending any restriction and border closure changes.
