PlatypusWatch Survey 25th March 2023

About this event
Join us as a citizen scientist to help monitor wild platypus populations as the puggles emerge from the burrows. The information you collect is added to national databases to monitor populations and identify what is needed to ensure the protection one of Australia’s most unique species.
Surveys are fun, social and exciting as you’ll never know what you might see as the sun rises over the water! Enjoy a cuppa or some hot soup after a survey and share stories or photos.
