About this event

Join us for the City of Logan’s free Conserving Greater Gliders workshop.

The workshop will be led by experts from Wildlife Preservation Society of Queensland who will discuss this amazing species, the main risks they face in the City of Logan and how you can make your backyards more wildlife friendly.

During the workshop, experts will also discuss how Logan City Council and Wildlife Queensland are working together to protect and conserve greater gliders in the Logan region through nest box installation and monitoring, and the restoration of vital glider habitat.

Build a nest box:

  • After the Greater Glider Workshop, Hollow Log Homes will present and demonstrate how to build a nest box. The first 20 attendees to book the ‘workshop talk plus nest box building’ ticket will be provided with their own nest box to build and take home.

This event is proudly funded by the City of Logan.
