About this event

From 4.00pm, join us at the official opening ceremony, followed by free retro games and the screening of the 2020 family film ‘Dolittle’.

Bring your own chair or picnic blanket and enjoy a cup of free popcorn! (One cup per person, for a limited time only)

Support our local businesses and pick up dinner in the city centre. The local Rotary Club will also be in the Town Square with food and drink options.

This is an alcohol and pet free event.

Movie synopsis:

Dr. John Dolittle lives in solitude behind the high walls of his lush manor in 19th-century England. His only companionship comes from an array of exotic animals that he speaks to on a daily basis. But when young Queen Victoria becomes gravely ill, the eccentric doctor and his furry friends embark on an epic adventure to a mythical island to find the cure.
