Grant writer program

Grant writing assistance

The Grant Writer Program is open to local not-for-profit, incorporated sport, recreation, and community organisations. The program aims to help source funding from non-Council grants with support from a professional grant writer. A grant writer can work with you to prepare competitive grant applications and provide skills, knowledge and experience to help with future grant submissions.

Through this program we aim to support the community to secure funding for initiatives that align with Council’s community vision and priorities as outlined in our Corporate Plan 2021-2026.

We can partner your organisation with a professional grant writer who will:

  • offer support on preparing a competitive grant application for your proposed project/initiative
  • offer tips, suggestions and examples of how to respond to selection criteria
  • offer feedback and suggestions on your draft responses.
