Respiratory clinics

If you think you have symptoms of COVID-19 you can contact a clinic to be assessed and get clinical advice.

GP respiratory clinics provide clinical assessments for people with mild to moderate COVID-19 symptoms (a fever, cough, shortness of breath, a sore throat and/or tiredness) with no patient cost.

There are currently two respiratory clinics in the Logan area:

Telehealth

To reduce the number of people attending clinics in person, many medical centres are now offering telephone or video consultations as an alternative or first step.

To make a telehealth appointment, ring your regular doctor to see if they offer telehealth appointments. If they do, you’ll be given an appointment time as normal, but instead of going into the clinic you can stay at home and the doctor will call you by phone or videoconference.
