You must notify us 30 minutes before you arrive by calling us on 07 3081 6662.
The asbestos must be wetted down and double wrapped in durable PVC plastic so the load is air tight.
If the load is not being delivered by a tipping type vehicle, the wrapped bundles must be small enough for you to unload them. For workplace health and safety reasons our staff are not able to help with unloading.
Commercial operators transporting Asbestos or ACM must show they are a Regulated Waste Transporter registered with the Department of Environment and Science to conduct environmentally relevant activity ERA57. Waste tracking provisions apply. For more information refer to the Department of Environment and Science.
When you arrive at the Browns Plains Waste facility, after advising us 30 minutes before, tell the weighbridge staff you have asbestos. They will direct you to a designated disposal location at the facility.
