The next round of applications will open in January 2021. These applications will be for the July 2021 to June 2022 program.
How does it work?
We will be looking to deliver activities across all areas of our city. Activities should:
be good value for money
meet existing or emerging community needs
show regular participation and positive feedback (if delivered before)
be held in line with our terms and conditions.
We will give preference to providers based in Logan. If you’re looking for a venue for your activity, try one of our fantastic community centres or parks.
Benefits of participating
As part of the Live Well Logan program, you may receive:
A service provider rate of up to $20 per hour. You can also charge up to $5 per participant, per session.
A travel subsidy for eligible applications of up to $20 per activity. To be eligible, you must deliver activities in our regional suburbs (and not live in the area). These include Flagstone, Greenbank, Jimboomba, Mundoolun and Yarrabilba.
Reimbursement of a part of your venue hire. Cooking activities may also have part of the cost of ingredients reimbursed.
Promotion of your activity through our booklets, website, social media and community events.
Terms and conditions
As a provider, you will need to give us evidence of:
$20m public liability insurance
current Blue Cards
current first aid and CPR qualifications
relevant qualifications for your activity (if required).
You will also need to:
sign a contract with Council
attend an annual provider forum
book your venue and arrange payment for the hire costs, we will reimburse you for this later
