The Bureau of Meteorology issued the final flood warnings for the Logan and Albert rivers on March 13, 2025.
- Our crews have been working tirelessly to assess damage across the City of Logan as we move into the Recovery phase of the recent extreme weather event.
- Emergency repairs are being undertaken as required and planning is underway to support the clean-up in our community.
- If you need help for the removal of trees/vegetation or waste, or general clean-up, please fill out the Requests for assistance with clean-up form.
- You may see some road flooded signs still up around Logan. If a flooded road/road closed sign or barricade is still up, please do not drive over the road. These roads still require assessment and may collapse due to erosion underneath them. The signs are up to keep you and your car safe.
- Community Recovery Hubs are open in our city to help residents experiencing hardship to apply for grants as well as obtain emotional and wellbeing support.
- Call the Community Recovery Hotline on 1800 173 349 or visit a Community Recovery Hub if you are experiencing hardship or need assistance.
- If you are experiencing emotional stress, the dedicated Community Recovery Lifeline Hotline is also available to provide qualified disaster counselling. Call the Lifeline Hotline on 1800 116 671, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Mosquitos are also a risk after flooding so please remember to protect yourself with mosquito spray. The community are asked to tip out standing water from around the home and cover up when outdoors in the early morning and late afternoon. We have ramped up surveillance and treatment operations for mosquitoes across the city especially in areas that have been flooded.
