Logan Water Infrastructure Alliance is a public and private sector enterprise involving Logan City Council, Downer, Cardno and WSP.
The alliance was established on 1 July 2015. It supports Council’s water business in the areas of:
- asset management
- planning
- design
- project delivery
- organisational development.
Logan Water Infrastructure Alliance improves the operation of Logan’s water and sewerage (wastewater) networks and meets the demand for infrastructure in growing areas. This infrastructure includes:
- water and wastewater pipelines and pump stations
- water reservoirs
- wastewater treatment plants
- water and wastewater network management technologies.
The alliance’s activities benefit the local economy, environment and community by:
- improving the value and minimising the cost of our infrastructure for us and our customers
- providing infrastructure for Logan’s growing population and economy
- installing infrastructure and technologies which reduce environmental and social impacts
- providing local employment and training opportunities for staff and local businesses.

Before beginning any works, Logan Water Infrastructure Alliance send a works notice to local residents and businesses who may be affected. The works notice outlines the location, nature and timing of the works, as well as the potential impacts.

Logan Water Infrastructure Partnership Tender
Logan Water wishes to enter into a partnership contract with industry participants to deliver its capital works program from July 2020 to June 2025 with two possible two year extensions. Logan Water expects to be calling for tenders in late June 2019. Attached is the Pre-Industry briefing presentation delivered 12 June 2019.
