Logan Youth Action Group

The Logan Youth Action Group (LYAG) is made up of young people aged 14 to 24 years old who live, work or study in the City of Logan and are passionate about making a positive difference in the local community.

The LYAG is a space where young people are heard and take action about the things that are important to them, with the support of Logan City Council. 

Members of the LYAG:

  • represent the voice of young people at a Local Government level
  • develop and deliver youth led projects and events
  • learn new skills in a hands-on learning environment
  • have a lot of fun and make new friends along the way

LYAG Vision Statement:

Our Vision is to empower the youth of today to make a change in their community and help make the City of Logan a better place for the youth of tomorrow. 

LYAG Mission:

Our mission is to engage, inspire and unite Logan’s youth, to empower them to have their voice heard and to turn their ideas into action.

LYAG Values:

We believe that our values are reflective of the core values and beliefs of young people living within the City of Logan. We want young people to pursue their goals, dreams careers, community aspirations and hopes. As young people in Logan, it is our responsibility to take action for our own future and ensure we live our best lives.
