Role of the Interim Management Committee

The Minister for Local Government, Racing and Multicultural Affairs established Logan’s Interim Management Committee (IMC) on 14 June 2019. The IMC supports the Interim Administrator with advice on a range of Council matters.

The Interim Management Committee Charter was adopted at the IMC meeting on 24 June 2019.  Download the IMC Charter meeting minutes (PDF 288 KB).

Four former councillors were appointed to the committee: Lisa Bradley, Laurie Koranski, Darren Power and Jon Raven. Mr Gary Kellar and Mr Brent Lillywhite have been appointed as subject experts. Current IMC members:

Tamara O'Shea, IMC Chair: see full biography.

Gary Kellar, IMC Deputy Chair: Logan City Council Chief Executive Officer from 1979–2005. Acting Chief Executive Officer Ipswich City Council October 2017 – May 2018.

Brent Lillywhite: Partner at Corrs Chambers Westgarth lawyers. Experienced in land resumptions and statutory valuation. Also experienced in planning scheme drafting, corporate governance and judicial review.

Former Division 10 Councillor first elected to Logan City Council in 1997.

14 June 2019 to 13 November 2019 - Lisa Bradley 

Former Division 1 Councillor first elected to Logan City Council in 2008.

Former Division 4 Councillor first elected to Logan City Council in 2016.
