There are four key departments involved in Beenleigh's renewal and investment program including three Logan City Council departments (Centres Planning and Urban Renewal, Logan's Office of Economic Development, and Logan Development Assessment Branch) and the Beenleigh Yatala Chambers of Commerce.

Logan Centres Planning and Urban Renewal Program
The Centres Planning and Urban Renewal (CPUR) program is part of the Growth Management and Urban Design Branch in Logan City Council. CPUR is responsible for coordinating and leading the development of land use planning for major new urban areas in Logan and undertaking planning and facilitating revitalisation of identified Activity Centres in Logan to create economic and social vibrancy, and environmental sustainability.
CPUR have created a set of land use plans that illustrate the current land uses and the new parking plans of Beenleigh Town Centre.
Logan Office of Economic Development
Logan Office of Economic Development's (LOED) purpose is to facilitate economic growth through attracting inward investment and support our existing business base to grow and thrive. LOED has been actively engaged in doing this over the last several years.
LOED works with a collaborative team of support partners including all levels of government, industry groups, and regional and international chambers of commerce, to assist our clients in achieving success and growth.
They offer a no fee service when working with businesses wanting to locate or expand in our rapidly growing region. The LOED team can assist with:

- Up-to-date demographic and economic information
- Site selection services
- Development approvals process
- Supply chain and workforce development

Council's Development Assessment branch
The Development Assessment branch facilitates responsible and sustainable development within Logan City.
Their objectives include:
- Approve development within Logan City that will promote sustainable growth and enhance community lifestyle and wellbeing now and into the future, and encourage further investment in our city
- Foster partnerships and collaboration with community interest/industry groups, institutions and other levels of government
- Have systems and processes in place that effectively support consistent decision making within the DA Branch and across Council and facilitate the efficient processing of development applications

Beenleigh Yatala Chamber of Commerce
The Beenleigh Yatala Chamber of Commerce was established in 1969 and is a membership-based association of some 220 businesses that operate within the northern Gold Coast and Logan regions, in an area roughly bounded by Beenleigh, Jacobs Well, Waterford and Pimpama.
As an advocate for issues that will generally assist business and/or impact upon the region, the Chamber represents a strong voice of commerce and works with a range of organisations, and at all levels of government to achieve for the region. To facilitate this large and vibrant business network, a range of events are held throughout the year, including monthly business breakfasts, and annual business and social functions that inform, and provide a showcase for business.
