Spring Mountain Drive and Raglan Road Intersection Upgrade

Current intersection of Spring Mountain Drive and Raglan Road. Shows water partially covering road that isn't well maintained.

Project overview

We are upgrading the intersection at Spring Mountain Drive and Raglan Road in Greenbank to improve safety.

The intersection upgrade will address pooling water at the location which creates a hazard for drivers during wet weather. It will help provide a safer road by reducing the risk of potential crashes.

Latest update

Design for the project is progressing and expected to conclude in early 2024.

Project features

The design includes:

  • improving drainage
  • installing new kerb and channel
  • resurfacing the intersection.

Project benefits

The upgrade will deliver a range of benefits, including:

  • a safer environment for road users
  • a less hazardous road surface during wet weather
  • improved drainage.

Project timing

Design works are expected to finish in early 2024.

We will be in touch with residents and business owners before works begin with further details, including timing and what you can expect.

Investigation work

Detailed surveying and service locating has been completed. Pending the final design, further investigations may be required including soil and road pavement testing.

If further design investigations are required, traffic management will be in place to help keep our crews and road users safe. This may lead to some queuing, and we thank you in advance for your patience.
