Can I receive my rate notice by email?

Yes. To receive your rate notice by email please register for our rates portal and select email when you sign up. Registration is quick and easy by following the instructions at Online rate notices. You will need a copy of you rate notice handy to assist with the registration.

I need more time to pay, what do I do?

If you need more time to pay or are experiencing financial hardship there are several options available to you depending on your circumstances. Please see Need more time to pay? for more information.

How much interest am I being charged?

Interest of 12.35 percent per annum compounding daily is charged on overdue rates and charges. We choose to impose the maximum interest rate allowed on overdue rates and charges in an effort to encourage both on time payments and for those experiencing financial hardship to enter and maintain agreeable payment plans to pay down their overdue rates.

As a guide, if $1,000 was overdue and attracted interest for 30 days, $10.20 worth of interest apply.

How do I object to my general rate category?

An objection can be made by completing the objection form found on General rate category statement.
