Safe City Awards

The City of Logan Safe City Awards acknowledge groups, individuals, government departments and businesses who work to make our city safer.

The awards are presented in three categories:

  • volunteer groups (an individual or group that receives no payment for their time and services)
  • not-for-profit groups (not operating for a profit or personal gain)
  • government / business.

You can nominate yourself, your organisation or someone else.

  • Every nominee will receive a certificate.
  • Each category winner will receive a $200 gift card, plaque and certificate.
  • Each category runner-up will receive a $50 gift card, plaque and certificate.

2019 Awards

The 2019 Awards ceremony was held on Wednesday 20 November 2019 at the Logan Metro Indoor Sports Centre, Heritage Park.

Stan Wells Award

This award is in memory of long-serving Jimboomba Neighbourhood Watch member Stan Wells.  The Stan Wells award acknowledges a community member or members who have gone above and beyond to achieve outstanding safety benefits for the wider community.
