Neighbourhood Watch in Logan

Neighbourhood Watch Queensland supports neighbourhoods to work together to reduce crime and improve community safety.

The benefits of an active Neighbourhood Watch group are:

  • community unity and stronger relationships between neighbours
  • working together to reduce crime and improve community safety
  • a direct contact point between local Police and the community.

Crime Stoppers

Crime Stoppers Queensland is a registered charity and volunteer community organization. Their purpose is to empower the community to provide information that supports the solving and prevention of crime. The organisation has a vision of a safer community and a safer Australia.

Crime Stoppers efforts encourage people to share what they know, especially for cross-border crimes like illicit drug manufacture, importation and distribution, wanted fugitives and illegal firearms.

Volunteers in Policing

Volunteers in Policing (ViPs) are based with police where they work to address customer service, community safety and crime prevention needs in the community. The range of tasks they undertake complement the roles and responsibilities of paid police officers and staff members. Our Community Safety Program partners with ViPs to deliver community safety and crime prevention initiatives like Safe Plates.
