Waste vouchers

Ratepayers with a bin service receive four waste vouchers each year. You can use the vouchers to dispose of general, construction and demolition waste for free.

The waste vouchers will be included with your July rates notice each year. If you receive your notices by email or BPAY View, we will post your vouchers to you.

Vouchers are not available to ratepayers of commercial properties.

Lost, stolen or not-received vouchers

Vouchers that have been lost, accidentally thrown out or stolen cannot be replaced.

If you did not receive vouchers in your July rates notice, please call us on 07 3412 3412.

Vouchers for tenants

We can only send vouchers to the property owner.

Tenants can contact their real estate or property owner to ask for the vouchers. Tenants in a Department of Housing property will need to call the Department of Housing.

Vouchers for recently bought properties

If you have recently bought a property, we can send waste vouchers to you when the property title is in your name. This can take six to eight weeks from the settlement date. To request your vouchers, please call us on 07 3412 3412.

Vouchers for newly built properties

If you have just finished building your property, we can send waste vouchers to you after you order your wheelie bins. To request your vouchers, please call us on 07 3412 3412.

Vouchers for non-strata titled, domestic multi-unit properties

Property managers can ask for vouchers for residents in non-strata titled, domestic multi-unit properties.
