Youth Week

Queensland Youth Week 2021 will be held from Saturday 10 April to Sunday 18 April. With a range of activities across the City of Logan, there is something for every young person to get involved in!

Kickflip Skate Deck Project

Design a skateboard through the Kickflip Skate Deck project. You will get the chance to work with art therapist Jess and Skate Pro, Tommy Flynn. You will be guided to paint your own interpretation of mental wellbeing on the deck which will be showcased at headspace Meadowbrook. 

Young people must be between 12 and 25 years and are expected to attend both half days. Lunch will be provided. 

Spots are limited and filling up fast so please contact headspace if you want to join in.

KRANK Go Karting

 
Join us for a day of go-karting and arcade games.

Each person will receive three go-kart races and ten arcade games in the new and improved games zone.

Please wear fully enclosed shoes and have long hair tied back.

You will need to wear gloves and balaclava to participate.

Discover the spectacular fun of rockets, light, and space technology.

Launch your very own water rocket to altitudes over 60 meters.

Please bring an empty 1.25 litre drink bottle straight from the recycling bin.

Dark Sky with STEMPunks

Discover how you can help to create a dark sky within your home, city or town with the use of 3D technologies.
