Events play a key role in fostering regional tourism and economic development. Council's vision is to create events that are dynamic, to entice promoters, and advise on community events that are continually evolving, instilling community pride and enhancing Logan's city image.

Australia Day Awards Pays tribute to the extraordinary people in our community who help to make Logan a thriving and diverse community.
Audi Centre Springwood City of Logan Sports Awards The Audi Centre Springwood Awards pay tribute to inspirational sports people and those who work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep the wheels turning.
Christmas Carols The carols create community spirit and pride, giving the residents of Logan an opportunity to share in the spirit of Christmas.
City of Logan Mayor’s Gala Ball The inaugural City of Logan Mayor’s Gala Ball will be the first gala event for Mayor Luke Smith and will act as a launch for the new City of Logan Mayor's Charity Trust. 
A spectacular black tie event with outstanding performances, a three course dinner and dancing to round out the night. Register your interest to attend or sponsor the event.
Logan Loves Seniors The expo highlights the many local activities and services open to senior citizens and encourages seniors to get active and inspire, not retire.
Logan Loves Volunteers Logan Loves Volunteers allows Council to demonstrate its appreciation for the more then 7,000 volunteers and thank them for the role they play within Logan.
Logan Eco Action Festival (LEAF)
LEAF is a fun and inspiring community festival that generates awareness about the issues our environment faces and practical ways to address them. The event offers attendees access to a wide range of eco businesses, demonstrations, workshops, children’s activities and live music. Register your interest in attending, sponsoring or holding a stall.
NAIDOC Flag Raising Ceremony The ceremony is held during NAIDOC Week and celebrates the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Wall of Acclaim The Wall of Acclaim acknowledges and celebrates the achievements of Logan residents who have made a significant contribution to the development of Logan, and highlights their efforts to the wider community.
