Parks in Logan are a great place to have a picnic, take a walk, play with your dog or host a family barbecue. Some parks have sheltered areas, are by the river and even have ideal locations for weddings. To meet the city's future recreation needs, the Recreation Trails Strategy (PDF 4574 KB) outlines Council's plan to improve and promote the vast amount of trail opportunities for residents and visitors to Logan.
Request to rename Greenvale Park to Miller Park
Council is considering a request to change the name of Greenvale Park to Miller Park. This proposed name meets Council's requirements as per the Council policy Naming of Parks and Community Facilities. The Miller family have a long association with the Chambers Flat area having established a dairy farm in the area in the 1930’s, which originally incorporated Greenvale Park.
