KRANK

KRANK is a school holiday program for Logan residents aged 5-17 years, which offers a variety of FREE and low cost activities.

Bookings

Bookings open one week prior to each school holiday period. Please ensure you register for each activity by phoning the provider in the KRANK program details section.

All participants are required to complete a registration form.  You you can download this registration form in advance by clicking on this link (PDF 102 KB).

The next KRANK School Holiday Program will run from Monday 19 September to Saturday 1 October 2016.

Activities for 5 to 11 year olds (Sept/Oct 2016)

Colourful Creations

Kids will love this fun, interactive and imaginative art workshop where they will explore different materials and techniques to create their very own artistic masterpieces. There is no right or wrong in these workshops, we encourage mistakes and mess!

Bring a water bottle and a smock/apron if you have one.

Cornubia Park Sports Carnival

This is a full, exciting day for kids with various sports and activities! This physio-designed program teaches children the fundamentals of six different sports and develops essential motor skills in a fun, non-competitive environment. Why not enrol your child in the full 3 days from 21 September to 23 September? Book quickly because spaces fill up fast!

Bring along a water bottle, lunch and a hat. Wear enclosed shoes.

Crafty Kids

There's something in this arts and crafts session for everyone - dye a t-shirt, make a pretty card, learn how to knit a scarf, create a wind spinner, design a dreamcatcher or even paint a pet rock!

Bring a hat, water bottle and a plain white t-shirt to be dyed.

Kids in the Kitchen

Does your child want to learn how to cook? Kids in the Kitchen allows children and their parent/carer to engage together through healthy food preparation, cooking and eating. After cooking and eating together, children and parents/carers will complete a small 'seasonal' craft activity. Children will be able to take home their finished craft project.

Kids Yoga

Kids Yoga classes have been designed with props and games to help your child develop a mind and body connection, improve concentration and focus, refine balance and boost self-esteem and confidence. Bring along a yoga mat (or a towel) and a water bottle.

Music Workshop

Does your child love music? This workshop will help them to develop their musical ability using beat, rhythm, movement and language. Kids can join in on the drumming circle, play with instruments and learn to sing a tune or two! Bring a water bottle.

Photography

This workshop will offer children the opportunity to learn some photography skills, become more aware of the environment and how to manipulate it through a camera lens, and develop confidence in their creative talents. Bring a camera, iPhone, iPad or tablet. Morning tea will be provided.

Pokemon Picnic

Is your child crazy about Pokemon Go? Why not take them along to join PCYC's youth team on a Pokemon hunt around the Crestmead Community Park followed by a healthy picnic in the park. Children will need to bring a phone with the Pokemon Go app already downloaded. Must wear enclosed shoes and bring a water bottle and a hat. Spaces are limited.
