Active and Healthy program

The Active and Healthy program (formerly Live Well Logan) offers free or low-cost physical activity, health and wellbeing programs near you. Activities are suitable for everyone, regardless of your age, gender, mobility or work schedule

Keeping fit and healthy has never been so important. Regular exercise can have a positive impact on mental health and wellbeing as it can:

  • relieve stress
  • improve your memory
  • help you sleep better
  • boost your mood.

If you, or someone you know is unable to access a digital copy of the activity booklet, you can:

  • visit one of our Customer service centres or Libraries for a printed copy

Community swimming programs

Swim Logan

Australia has many rivers, lakes and oceans so it’s important for all Australians to know how to swim. Swim Logan is a free learn to swim program for New Australian adults who are over 16 years of age and living in Logan.

Swim Logan is a program funded by the Australian Government’s Department of Health. The program will run until December 2022 and aims to significantly reduce cases of drowning.

Nyerroolahle Logan: Come and Swim

It’s important for Community to improve their health and well-being, while also increasing confidence in the water. We are delivering Nyerroolahle Logan, a free swimming program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People who are over 16 years of age and living in Logan.

To book or to find out more, please visit the Logan Leisure Centres - Nyerroolahle Logan. The program is funded by the Australian Government’s Department of Health and will run until December 2022.
