Green waste, kerbside clean up and bin collection

Green waste storm clean up

Residents who can take their green waste to our waste and recycling facilities are being encouraged to do so. It will be accepted at no cost.

All loads greater than two cubic metres must be taken to the Browns Plains waste and recycling facility at 41 Recycle Way in Heritage Park.

Residents who can’t get to a waste facility should leave their green waste on the kerb for collection.

Please stack green waste neatly to make collection easier and to reduce hazards to pedestrians and drivers in the area.

Scheduled kerbside clean-up

Our scheduled kerbside collection started on Monday 8 January.

To allow crews to clear vegetation from footpaths without disrupting the scheduled kerbside clean up we will start the collection in the following order by suburb:

  • Park Ridge South
  • New Beith
  • North Maclean
  • South Maclean
  • Greenbank
  • Munruben.

The latter suburbs may not be serviced until the week beginning 15 January 2024.

Bin collections (waste, recycling and green)

We will continue to collect general, recycling and green waste wheelie bins where possible. If a bin is missed, please leave the bin out, if it is safe to do so. We will collect it as soon as possible.

You can report missed bin online or call us on 3412 3412.
