Vehicles and parking

For information on the parking rules that apply in Queensland, please visit Department of Transport and Main Roads.

Our City-Wide Parking Enforcement Plan 2023 to 2026 (PDF 4.89 MB) is a strategic new roadmap which governs the enforcement of parking in the City of Logan. The plan has been endorsed by Council and was developed after extensive consultation with the community. It recognises the critical regulatory role Council plays to ensure safe and accessible parking across the city.

Where can I park?

Our Yellow lines and residential parking (PDF 170kb) fact sheet can help with understanding yellow "no stopping" lines, and rules that apply around driveways, intersections, traffic lights and narrow streets.

Refer to the diagram and video below to find out where you can and cannot park on roads 6 metres and wider (non-narrow roads).

Parking on non-narrow roads (roads 6m and wider)
  • Green tick - vehicle is permitted to park
  • Red cross - vehicle is not permitted to park
