Beenleigh Town Square will be closed from 3pm on Monday 29 March 2021 due to the Greater Brisbane 3 day lockdown. Please see COVID-19 update.
Beenleigh Town Square has been transformed from a six-way roundabout into a vibrant community space. Its development was driven by the community’s desire to transform the heart of Beenleigh into a place of cultural exchange and activity. Beenleigh Town Square includes:
a civic platform
a pavilion structure that could accommodate a future cafe
an open-air market space. Beenleigh Town Square brings significant economic and social benefits to the Beenleigh community and contributes to Beenleigh becoming a welcoming and attractive destination for visitors. The space can host a variety of events including markets, local festivals and concerts.
The Beenleigh parking map shows the proposed timed parking zones for the town centre. These will be implemented after consultation with local residents and businesses and research into the parking options available near Beenleigh Town Square.
