Our libraries offer a wide range of disability resources, programs and events. Resources include audio books, large print materials, special needs software and assistive technologies.

Accessibility centre

Audio books, DVDs and large print

We have audio books, DVDs and large print books in our libraries and online.

Books on CD, MP3 and Playaway are available in the branches and online. For more information, please see our audio books collection.

Library services at home

Our volunteers provide library material to residents of Logan City who are confined to home. To find out whether you can access the service, please call us on 07 3412 4147.

Languages other than English

Readers of languages other than English will find a large range of materials in other languages, including:

  • magazines and newspapers
  • books.

The State Library of Queensland supports our members by having books and resources in languages other than English.

Learning English

Our libraries help members with learning or improving their English. English conversation groups meet weekly to help improve English language skills through conversation.

Sensory space

Marsden library has in interactive area called the sensory space, where children of all abilities can explore and learn. It provides technology and sensory experiences and includes things like:

  • touch
  • sight
  • sound
  • movement.

The sensory space has received financial assistance from Logan City Council and the Queensland Government through the State Library of Queensland.
