Works are expected to be completed during school holidays, pending weather and construction activities. The majority of works will take place at night, to minimise disruption to traffic.

Project overview
The upgrade will improve safety for all road users and improve intersection operation.
Project timings
Works are expected to start in mid March 2024 and be finished by mid April 2024, subject to weather and construction conditions.
Project features
The project will deliver:
- Installation of new traffic signals in the left-hand turning lane from Muchow Road onto Chambers Flat Road and associated civil works.
- Rehabilitation of pram ramps and concrete islands in the intersection.
- Minor Pavement rehabilitation works.
