Community Emergency Planning

Community Emergency Planning is a program run by community members. Community members work with us, emergency services and other agencies to plan for emergencies.

To help local communities be part of emergency planning, we have created tools that you can download:

Community Emergency Planning will help communities:

  • respond more effectively before, during and after an emergency
  • reduce the impact of disasters and emergencies
  • identify resources you can use during an emergency
  • understand local hazards and risks.

It is everyone’s responsibility to be prepared, respond to and recover from disasters.
