Conservation Incentives Programs
We often work with landowners to manage the natural areas of their property. We do this through our Conservation Incentives Programs.
For more information, please see Conservation Incentive Programs.
Have you ever seen a Platypus in the wild?
Platypus have been recorded in Logan but we don't know their population or how this might be changing over time. We need more information to help us manage the conservation of this unique animal.
We have partnered with the Gold Coast Catchment Association to introduce PlatypusWatch. This exciting new program includes:
- workshops to teach you about Platypus, how to look for and record them, and how to assess habitat
- regular Platypus monitoring and recording events (called surveys)
- events like children’s Platypus craft and information sessions.
If you would like to help us to conserve the platypus, please join us by getting involved. Everyone is welcome.
For more information please contact the Gold Coast Catchment Association by emails at email@example.com
