Heart Foundation walking

Group of people walking together down a hedge lined path

There’s a reason why walking is one of the most popular forms of physical activity in Australia. Walking for an average of 30 minutes a day can lower the risk of heart disease, stroke and diabetes by 30 to 40 per cent.

Heart Foundation Walking is Australia's largest network of FREE community-based walking groups. It's a great opportunity to look after your health, make new friends and enjoy the many parks and facilities in Logan. The free program is led by trained walk organisers, and managed by a local coordinator at the Heart Foundation.

Looking for other ways to stay active? Check out our Active & Healthy program.
