Recycling… As easy as red. Yellow. Green!

Description:

The greyscale animation pans down from the sky passed trees and houses to reveal personified red, yellow and green bin characters in colour.

Description:

The brightness is decreased, and a spotlight appears on the red general waste bin. The perspective zooms in on the red general waste bin character as he salutes.

Red general waste bin:

Attention! You will call me General Waste and use me for general waste only.

Description:

Perspective zooms in just above the bin, his eyes and lid still visible below. A red tattered shirt appears. To it’s left a broken wine glass and hand mirror appear. To it’s right a black plastic bag appears. Perspective zooms out and a diaper and plastic wrap appear before all flying into a black plastic trash bag. General Waste opens his lid and the black plastic bag flies into the red bin.

Red general waste bin:

I’m talking fabrics, glass, plastic bags, and all your basic household throwaways.

Description:

Before the bin closes, an array of things fly out of the bin and appear above the bin, including: watermelon peel, egg shells, apple core, banana peel, and dirt. A compost bin and worm farm appear next to General Waste, and the items floating above fly into the compost bin.

Red general waste bin:

While this can include food and scraps, your best tactical advantage is to use a compost bin or worm farm system. Do your part in helping the environment by purchasing one of these systems.

Description:

The red bin is centred again and as he lifts his arms in celebration money notes and coins fly out from behind him.

Red general waste bin:

And get a $50 rebate.

Description:

Perspective zooms ins on the top half of General Waste as he clears his throat. He then raises his finger to point as he talks. Above his head in an arch formation, items begin to appear. From left to right: a brick, wooden slats, batteries, a cannister of motor oil, a purple bottle with skull and crossbones in it, and a gas bottle. The items then fly out of view away from General Waste.

Red general waste bin:

As your General, I will not tolerate heavy, hazardous or bulky items. There will be no building materials, no batteries, no hazardous liquids, and absolutely no gas bottles.

Description:

General Waste points and a red and a dark green bin appear next to him. Perspective zooms in on him as he gives a thumbs up. He then salutes as he rolls out of frame. The animation then pans up to the sky to reveal text.

Red general waste bin:

Look for the red or dark green lid when it’s your time to clean. Then deploy me to the kerbside the night before collection day facing the road. Time for me to ship out. Your country thanks you. Dismissed.
