Who needs a licence?
The following pool operations need a licence from us:
- public swimming pools and spas
- learn to swim pools, gym and health centre pools
- hotel, motel, and motor inn pools
- club pools
- Council pools
- hydrotherapy pools
- domestic pools when used for commercial purposes
- aquatic centre pools.
Who does not need a licence?
The following pools do not need a licence from us:
- residential swimming pools
- school swimming pools
- swimming pools under a body corporate or a group subdivision scheme.
