Logan Youth Action Group

We are looking for people aged 14- 24 years to join the Logan Youth Action Group (LYAG).

If you are interested in being a voice for our young people and are excited about representing their opinions at a local government level, then make sure you get that application in.

What is the Logan Youth Action Group?

The LYAG is made up of young people aged 14 - 24 years old living, working or studying in the City of Logan who are passionate about making a positive difference in the local community. The LYAG is a group of young people for young people to be heard and take action on the things that are important to them, with the support of Logan City Council. 

Members of the LYAG will have the opportunity to:

  • represent the voice of young people at a Local Government level
  • hang out with new mates
  • create youth led projects and events
  • learn new skills.

What is involved?

  • Attending regular meetings over a 12 month period
  • Participating in local community events and activities
  • Consulting with other young people
  • Voicing the views of the young people you represent in local government
  • Working in a team to develop and implement projects and activities.
