Paying your fine in full within 28 days from the date the fine was issued will resolve the matter.
If you do not pay the fine, the matter will be referred to the State Penalties Enforcement Registry (SPER) for debt collection. If that happens, you will have extra fees to pay.
Pay the fine in full
To finalise the matter, please pay the penalty amount listed on the infringement notice.
Please use any of the following payment methods:
A merchant surcharge fee of 0.34 percent will apply to all online and phone payments.
Apply for a Voluntary Instalment Plan
If the fine is $200 or more, you can apply for a Voluntary Instalment Plan (VIP).
You must apply for a VIP within 28 days from the date of issue listed on the infringement notice.
An initial payment of $60 is required at the time of application
To apply, you will need to:
- call us on 07 3412 3412 to request a VIP application form
- visit one of our customer service centres and complete the application in person, or
- complete the VIP option on the rear of the infringement notice and post the application, with the initial $60 instalment to Logan City Council, PO Box 3226, Logan City DC QLD, 4144.
Once the application and the $60 instalment are received by Council, the matter will be sent to SPER, who will be responsible for managing the payment plan. SPER will then contact you to organise your payment options. For any enquiries about VIP payment plans, please call SPER on 1300 365 635.
