Do you want planning and development information at your fingertips? Let’s take a look at the Logan PD Hub.

Description:

The home screen of the PD Hub appears.  At the top of the screen are the words ‘Logan City Council’ and PD Hub. There is a box for text to be entered with the words ‘Search for property’ within it. There are also two blue buttons labelled ‘Previous properties’ and ‘Map search’. The remainder of the screen is occupied by 12 tiles with pictures on them illustrating the function of each tile. The name of the function is written below each tile.

The curser hovers over the ‘search for property’ function and then the ‘map search’ function.

Narrator:

You can find a property by address or using the map search, and then use any of the free tools.

Description:

A red box appears around the Interactive Mapping tool and the cursor hovers over the button. The Interactive Mapping interface then appears, with aerial photography of a residential area displayed, the cursor then moves to the planning scheme layers and these layers are added to the image on the screen over the top of the aerial photography.

Narrator:

The Interactive Mapping is a great starting point. There are layers you can turn on, such as aerial photos, contours and planning scheme maps.

A red box appears around the Flood Level Report tool and the cursor hovers over the button. A flood level report is then displayed on the screen. This report includes a map showing the extent of flooding on a property as well as information around the depth of flooding.

The Flood Level Report is handy if you are thinking about a site that might be flood affected – it shows the extent and level of flooding.

Description:

A red box appears around the Development Fees Estimate tool, it then moves to the Infrastructure Charges Estimate tool, then moves to the Environmental Offset Estimate tool.

Narrator:

The Planning Enquiry tool helps you find a property for your proposed activity, or if you already have a property in mind, it helps you work out what can be done with it.

It even tells you some of the key requirements of the planning scheme.
