Pet pick

We have lots of animals waiting to find their furever home. Each week we nominate a pet pick of the week. This could be an animal that has been waiting a long time to be adopted or one who has really stood out to our team as the star of the week! You can view this week’s pet picks below. If you think you have the purrfect home, come and meet us today at the Animal Management Centre.

Max - American Bulldog mix

Max - Dog

Meet Max, an 18-month-old American Bulldog mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality!

Max is a sturdy, playful companion who’s always ready for an adventure. With his expressive eyes and goofy charm, it’s hard not to smile when he’s around. Max’s previous family weren’t able to dedicate enough time to his training, so he can be a bit boisterous at times. He’s full of energy and enthusiasm, which can lead to moments of unintentional mischief. But don’t be fooled - underneath his playful exterior is a loyal and loving companion who’s eager to learn and thrive with the right guidance.

Max will need an experienced and patient owner who can dedicate time to consistent training and socialisation. He responds well to positive reinforcement, and with the right structure, he’s sure to blossom into a well-mannered and devoted best friend. Max’s ideal home would include plenty of space for him to run, play, and burn off his puppy-like energy.

Adoption fee: $315.00

Tomma, a happy little 4 month old boy, mastiff mix

Tomma - Dog

Meet Tomma, a happy little 4 month old boy looking for his forever home.

He is a mastiff mix that will grow to be a big handsome fella, so would be suitable to a home with a nice sized yard. Tomma hasn't been exposed to much in his short life being confined to a very small area with his buddy 'Hawk'.

Tomma needs a new family that understands puppies are a lot of work and require a lot of attention and time so better suited to a family where someone is home often.

He will need daily exercise and ongoing socialisation especially at his current age! He gets on great with other dogs however will hold his ground if another dog gets too much for him (meet and greets apply).

Adoption fee: $375.00
