About Logan Recycling Market

If you value the saying 'One person’s trash is another person’s treasure', then you’ll love the Logan Recycling Market. You can enjoy hours of fun, browsing the aisles hunting for that one-of-a-kind treasure.

A share of profits from the recycling market goes to local charities through the City of Logan Mayor’s Charity Trust. This means that every sale helps to make a difference to people in Logan City.

Items for sale include:

  • clothing
  • bric-a-brac
  • hardware materials
  • toys
  • household furniture
  • appliances
  • bicycles
  • building materials.

The recycling market’s stock changes almost every day, so we can't tell you what things will be available, when we’ll have them when, or what the prices will be. Please visit to see what we have for sale.

Purchasing limit

The Logan Recycling Market aims to benefit as many people as possible by allowing customers to purchase recycled, recovered, and reusable items.

We've recently noticed an increase in sales for specific items by single customers.

To promote fairness of the distribution of stock, we are placing a purchasing limit on the following items from 10 July.

The items include (and are subject to change):

  • bicycles
  • lawn mowers
  • whipper snippers
  • televisions
  • solar panels
  • suitcases / backpacks and handbags
  • kitchenware
  • clothes and shoes
  • chairs

Signage at the markets will display purchasing limits.

You can drop off items for the Logan Recycling Market whenever you visit any of our waste and recycling facilities.
