You know, about a year and a half ago a couple of friends decided we should get a bit more active and do things.

Was a real plus. So we we decided to just get on do some cycling in and around the neighbourhood and that just led to wanting to explore more.

so it's a couple of moms and myself we usually go out on weekends.

The Slack Creek Green link is really nice it's in a different area to where we usually cycle so it's lovely to be able to explore different parts of the city too.

A big worry for most of us because we're not professionals is being on the road with cars so having facilities like the bike way is amazing.

we live in such a beautiful city the weather is amazing the sightseeing is amazing and you don't even have to go far you don't have to take out a lot of time from your family life just go have a cycle in around the city have a cup of coffee with some friends and come back home.

so yeah we look forward to getting out meeting up because a lot of us are busy during the week we don't get to see each other so it's that companionship going out having a chat just slowing down basically.

because it's really a rat race during the week with the little ones and with the responsibilities at home and a lot of us work as well but this is just just wonderful to slow down catch up and the family doesn't even miss us most of the time they still sleeping when we get back so it's perfect

Women have to try biking really especially because there's no room for kids on the bike it's just you you get to meet up with your friends leave Hobbies leave kids all behind there's something about just being on Wheels and feeling the fresh air on your face and feeling that I can do this

Because it's not flat all the way there's heels we're not young girls anymore and just feeling that we can do this it's amazing it's actually an amazing feeling.
