Ratepayers with a residential bin service receive four waste vouchers each year. You can use the vouchers to dispose of general, construction and demolition waste for free.
Waste vouchers are sent each year in your July rate notice. If you receive your rate notice in the mail, you will receive your waste vouchers in the mail with your rate notice. If you receive your rate notice by email or BPAY View, from 17 July 2024 you will receive digital waste vouchers from our new online Digital Waste Voucher platform.
We encourage landlords to give waste vouchers to their tenants if they are not using them for that property.
Vouchers are not available to ratepayers of commercial properties. Refer to the back of the vouchers for the terms and conditions of use.
Digital Waste Vouchers for email or BPAY View ratepayers
From 17 July 2024, if you are eligible to receive waste vouchers and currently receive rate notices by email or BPAY View, you will receive digital waste vouchers. You can access the digital waste vouchers by creating an account on our new Digital Waste Voucher platform.
An account allows you to redeem your waste vouchers while providing access to your voucher usage history and remaining vouchers.
For more information on digital waste vouchers, see Digital Waste Vouchers.
