Plumbing approval

Caravan parks and camping grounds may need plumbing and drainage approval for certain activities. This includes if you do not have access to a sewerage connection and have on-site sewage facilities. Plumbing and drainage work must be conducted by a licensed plumber.

Swimming pools

Caravan parks and camping grounds with a swimming pool must meet the requirements of the Queensland Development Code MP 3.4 - swimming pool barriers.

Your pool may also require a local law licence for commercial swimming pools, as well as meeting the requirements of the Water Quality Guidelines for Public Aquatic Facilities, 2019.

Advertising signs licence

Are State Government approvals needed?

Electrical Safety

Electrical installations must comply with the requirements of the Queensland Electrical Safety Office. A copy of a current electrical safety certificate of compliance must be provided to Council on an annual basis with the application for the renewal of the licence or as required by an authorised person.

Alcohol
